FAQs
What types of counseling do you offer?
We offer virtual counseling for individuals and couples. Our team is equipped to support clients through a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, burnout, spiritual concerns, and more.
How does virtual counseling work?
Sessions are held via secure video conferencing platforms. After completing your intake paperwork, we match you with a counselor who fits your needs. Your counselor will then reach out to schedule your first session.
How is counseling at The Counseling Collective different from traditional counseling?
The Rest Initiative offers a unique model of care that lives at the intersection of clinical counseling, pastoral care, spiritual formation, and story work. Our approach is both professional and deeply personal—grounded in psychological insight, rooted in faith, and attuned to the transformative power of story. We meet individuals where they are, walking with them through the complexities of life with a posture of curiosity, compassion, and hope. This integrative framework allows us to care for the whole person—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally—while cultivating sustainable rhythms of rest, healing, and growth.
Do clients need to share the same faith background or beliefs to receive care?
No. You do not need to share the same faith background or beliefs to receive care. Our counselors respect and value each person’s unique story, and we welcome clients from all walks of life.
